Years ago, we were 'on the other side,' as marketers, looking to outsource what we called "back office" work: call-centers, shipping and fulfillment, etc. What we found were plenty of low-cost vendors. Of course, price and capacity were the main reasons we were looking to outsource ourselves. But no one could match the quality our customers required.
